In every issue of Fly Tyer magazine, we feature many of the flies we receive from our readers. All of these flies are fun to tie and they catch fish: trout, bass, panfish, salt water, and more. And, all tiers who submit flies (whether or not they appear in the magazine) are entered into a contest to win a prize. So, what should you do?
Send us a sample of your personal favorite fly. Include the complete pattern recipe of materials you used to make your fly, and write a brief description of how you tie it or fish with it.
