Mealworm/Cranefly larva
It's not new, but a buddy asked if I could come up with something that looked like a mealworm. I basically took a Cranefly larva and colored it to match a mealworm.
Hook: TMC 2457 #8
Body: sow scud Amber
Overbody: Latex strip
Rib: Ultra wire, Brassie in Fl. Orange
Thorax: Ice dub Rusty Brown
Color body with Prismacolor markers in yellow Ochra and thorax in brown.
