Len’s Stick Caddis

Hook: 4X-long streamer hook, size 10.
Thread: Black 6/0 (140 denier).
Weight: Fine lead wire.
Underbody: White floss colored with a tan permanent marker.
Outer body: Slips of light mottled brown or tan turkey feather wrapped around the hook. Stagger the slips of feather as you work up the hook shank. Trim and split the pieces of feathers to look like small sticks.
Legs: Black hackle fibers tied as a throat.
