Hook: Blind-eye salmon hook, size 4/0.
Thread: Tie the fly with white 6/0 (140 denier); complete the fly using the
white thread, or switch to black 8/0 (70 denier).
Loop or snell: Silk gut.
Tag: Oval silver tinsel and red floss.
Tail: White and red goose shoulder.
Body: Flat silver tinsel.
Wing: White-tipped mallard, and red and white goose shoulder.
Hackle: Brown schlappen.
Head: Peacock herl.
