Thread: Tie the fly with white 6/0 (140 denier); complete the fly using the
white thread, or switch to red 8/0 (70 denier).
Loop: Silk gut.
Tag: Oval silver tinsel and yellow floss.
Tail: Blue and yellow goose shoulder, and peacock sword fibers.
Rib: Oval gold tinsel.
Body: Deep blue seal fur dubbing or a substitute.
Wing: Black, white, red, and blue goose shoulder, and peacock sword
fibers.
Hackle: Red schlappen.
Head: Red Berlin wool.
