Copper-Bead Pheasant Tail

Hook: Daiichi 1150, size 12.
Thread: Brown 8/0 (70 denier).
Bead head: 1/8-inch-diamemter copper.
Tail and body: Cock ring-necked pheasant tail fibers.
Rib: Very fine copper wire.
Wing: Gray Chickabou. Note: Chickabou is a trade name of Whiting Farms. Chickabou is simply chicken marabou. It comes from the posterior of hen pelts. It’s very useful stuff, as it not only serves as small marabou but in some cases it can be substituted for cul de canard.
