Gulley’s Tailwater Shad

Hook: 4X-long streamer hook, sizes 1/0 to 3/0.
Thread: White 6/0 (140 denier).
Body: Two layers of 2-millimeter white closedcell foam covered with silver holographic tubing. Color the body with permanent markers.
Tail: Black closed-cell foam.
Eye: Yellow holographic dome eyes.

Tying note: The final step—after tying the body and tail, and adding the eyes—is to coat the body with epoxy.
