Gulley’s Threadfin Shad

Hook: Eagle Claw L253 or another brand of 4Xlong streamer hook, size 3/0 and larger.
Thread: Red 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail: White Zonker strip.
Body: White schlappen wrapped up the hook shank. Use long-stemmed marabou on bigger flies.
Wing: Blue marabou, peacock herl, and strands of silver and blue Flashabou.
Eyes: Medium silver bead-chain.
Dot: Black permanent marker.
