Gulley Worm

Hook: Eagle Claw 449 WA, sizes 1/0 to 3/0.
Thread: Red 6/0 (140 denier).
Body: Ice Chenille. On this fly
John Gulley weaves together two pieces of chenille to create a two-tone body. You may tie this pattern with one color of chenille.
Tail: Closed-cell foam colored with a permanent marker. The foam helps hold the end of the fly up which lends to its unique swimming action in the water.
