Red & White Tarpon Fly

Hook: Gamakatsu SC-15, size 3/0.
Thread: Bright red Flat Waxed Nylon.
Wing: White hackles tied splaying out with strands of pearl Krystal Flash.
Collar: Bright red hackles wrapped in front of the wing.
Head: Built up with the tying thread, then coated with clear head cement or five-minute epoxy.

Tying note: This is another Stu Apte creation. It is the perfect fly for beginning tiers.
