Black Ugly Bug

Hook: 2X-long nymph hook, sizes 10 to 2.
Thread: Black 6/0 (140 denier) for tying the body; orange 6/0 (140 denier) for wrapping the head.
Weight: Nontoxic wire. Wrap two layers of wire on the front half of the hook to create a thick thorax.
Tail, antennae, and legs: Strands of black or white rubber-leg material.
Abdomen and thorax: Black chenille.
