Hook: Presentation-class Atlantic salmon hook, size 1/0 to 5/0. Thread: Black 8/0 (70 denier). Tag: Silver twist and purple silk floss the same shade as the throat. Tail: Golden pheasant crest feather. Butt: Black ostrich herl. Body: Tied in five sections, each increasing in length. The first section is red silk, the same shade as the points of the red crow, veiled on the top and bottom with red crow feathers. The remaining sections are light blue silk, the same color as the light blue chatterer hackles at the termination of the second and third sections. At the end of the fourth and fifth, the hackles are light blue macaw. Rib: Oval tinsel. Throat: Yellow macaw flank feather. Wings: Two blue macaw feathers and two green macaw feathers. Cheeks: Indian crow and golden pheasant crest feathers. Horns: Red macaw feathers. Head: Black ostrich herl. |
