Latex Caddis Larva

Hook: 1X-long curved- or straight-shank nymph hook, sizes 16 to 8.
Thread: Black 8/0 (70 denier) or 6/0 (140 denier).
Weight: Lead wire or a substitute.
Underbody: Yarn or dubbing, color to match the abdomen.
Abdomen: A strip of latex sheeting colored with a permanent marker.
    The author is substituting with Scud Back.
Thorax: Peacock herl.
