Gummy Worm

Hook: 1X-long, heavy-wire, curved- or straightshank nymph hook, sizes 16 to 10.
Bead: Black metal, 1⁄8 inch for hooks sizes 12 and larger, and 3⁄32 inch for hook sizes 14 and smaller.
Thread: 8/0 (70 denier) or 6/0 (140 denier), color to match the abdomen.
Gills: White Antron yarn.
Underbody: Pearl Krystal Flash or Flashabou.
Abdomen: Stretch Flex, Scud Back, or a similar material: black, brown, red, tan, green, and cream.
Rib: Fine copper wire.
