Hook: Regular dry-fly hook,sizes 10 or 8.
Thread:Yellow 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail and extended abdomen: Yellow mallard flank feather.
Abdomen: Yellow polypropylene yarn,twisted to form a tight cord and wrapped up the hook shank.
Wing:Yellow elk hair.
Hackle:One yellow rooster hackle.The author uses inexpensive strung hackle and selects eathers that have the longest fibers and the least amount of web.
Thorax:Yellow Ice Dub.
