Gray’s Hex Dun

Hook:2X-long nymph hook,size 8.
Thread: Pale yellow 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail: Pale yellow Permatron.
Body: Yellow substitute seal’s fur dubbing.
Rib: Medium gold wire.
Wing: Bleached elk hair.
Hackle: Grizzly dyed yellow.
Note:Permatron is a fiber used in industrial air filters,so you probably don’t have it on your tying bench.You can easily substitute with polypropy-lene or Antron yarn.
