Hook: Daiichi 1222, sizes 26 to 20.
    (Tie this fly on a hook that has a
    silver finish.)
Thread: Bright white 8/0 (70 denier)
    or finer.
Budding body: Crimson polypropylene
    yarn or long bloodred goose cul de
    canard fibers.
Hackle: Dark brown, Cree, grizzly, or
    silver badger.
Body: Black or dark gray mole fur.
Shuck: Fluorescent white Antron
    dubbing wrapped on the bare silver
    hook shank.
