Hook: 90-degree jig hook such as the Mustad 32755, sizes 4 to 1. (Some fly shops carry 90-degree jig hooks, but you may have to look for these irons in your local bait shop.)
Thread: Size 3/0, your choice of color.
Claws: Bucktail, your choice of color.
Weight: Medium lead dumbbell.
Legs: Rubber leg material, your choice of color.
Body: Cactus Chenille, Estaz, or cotton chenille, your choice of color.
