Olive X-Caddis

Hook: Tiemco 100, size to match the natural insect.
Thread: Olive 8/0 (70 denier).
Shuck: Amber Z-Lon.
Body: Olive Antron dubbing.
Wing: Mottled deer hair.
Head: Butt ends of the deer-hair wing.
Note: The X-Caddis is the caddis equivalent to the Sparkle Dun.
    During heavy caddis hatches, larger trout often key in on
    stillborn caddis, and the X-Caddis is an ideal match. This is
    also the go-to fly for matching the Mother’s Day caddis hatch
    in the Rockies.
