Hook: 2X- or 3X-long nymph hook, sizes 10 to 6.
Thread: White size A or your favorite thread for spinning deer hair.
Body: Natural tan deer hair, spun and clipped to shape.
Legs: Pheasant-tail fibers, a small bunch on either side. (Tie on the fibers with white or tan 6/0 thread after the body is flared and clipped to shape.)
Head: Natural tan deer hair, spun and clipped to shape.
