Thread: Black 8/0 (70 denier).
Hook: 4X- or 6X-long streamer hook, your choice of size.
Tail: Golden pheasant tippet.
Body: English embossed gold tinsel.
Throat: Golden pheasant tippet.
Wing: Wood duck or bronze mallard.
Collar: Brown hackle.
A bit of history: Several Granite Lake flies are listed in Art
    Fuller’s notebook. This version is still being fished, although
    some contemporary tiers omit the brown collar.
