Thread: Black 8/0 (70 denier).
Hook: 4X- or 6X-long streamer hook, your choice of size.
Body: Flat silver tinsel covering only about half the hook.
Throat: White deer hair, orange deer hair, and black kip tail.
Wing: Two blue dun saddle hackles, twice the length of the body.
A bit of history: This fly was probably named after Eddie Phippard,
    one of Art Fuller’s a fishing partners.
