Featherhead Golden Shiner

Hook: Any straight-eye streamer hook, sizes 12 to 8.
Thread: Olive or tan 6/0 or 8/0.
Tail: Red hackle fibers.
Body: Gold Sparkle Braid or equivalent.
Wing: Ginger marabou with 4 pieces of gold Flashabou on each side.
Head: Three hen hackles or rooster breast feathers wrapped in this order; ginger, dyed-olive grizzly, and ginger or barred ginger.
Head coating: The homemade Goopand- toluene adhesive described in the text. (Page 38 Spring 2005 issue)
Eyes: Stick-on gold or silver prismatic eyes; use the largest eyes that will fit on the head.
