Hook: Regular dry-fly hook, size 4.
Thread: Red 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail: Gray fox guard hairs or woodchuck.
Body: Cream dry-fly dubbing.
Hackle: Light ginger saddle hackle.
Wing: Brown or white calf hair. White makes a good sight aid in low-light conditions; brown has the 
edge when the water is littered with insects.
