Glitter Deceiver

Hook: 2/0 to 3/0.
Underwing: Three to four inches of white bucktail
tied in just forward of the bend.
Flash: Small pearl Flashabou.
Wing: Kinky synthetic fiber, such as Kinky Fiber or
Bozo Hair. Add a little pearl Krystal Flash into
this layer.
Topwing: Green bucktail and a few strands of black
Krystal Flash.
Back: Peacock herl.
Head: Two coats of epoxy, with fine glitter dusted on
after first coat.
Scales: Water soluble glue and medium glitter.
Note: This fly is tied to match whatever baitfish is
used in the chum.Any basic Deceiver design will
work, including a simple all-white pattern. As the
glue dissolves, the glitter flakes off to represent
falling scales from a wounded baitfish.
