Pike String Leech

Hook: Two Atlantic salmon streamer or stainlesssteel hooks, size 1/0.
Thread: Kevlar, size 3/0 (280 denier), or gel-spun.
Hook Connection: 30-pound-test nylon-coated wire and superglue.
Tail: Rabbit Zonker strip. For a wider, fluffier tails, use a magnum Zonker strip or Orvis Super Magnum Texas Zonker strip.
Tail flash: Flashabou or Krystal Flash.
Butt (optional): Marabou.
Body: Crosscut rabbit strip.
Lateral line: One piece of holographic Flashabou or saltwater Flashabou on each side of the fly.
Throat: Red Flashabou or Krystal Flash.
Eyes: Large silver dome eyes.
