Hook: TMC 511S or equivalent, size 4/0.
Thread: Black Danville Flat Waxed Nylon.
Tail: Orange or chartreuse bucktail, tied sparse, with two
thin-stemmed saddles. Curves on the hackles should
face each other.
Tail flash: If you chose to add flash, use black Flashabou
or Krystal Flash extending just past the tip of the
saddle hackle.
Body: Orange or chartreuse Estaz, color to match bucktail.
Eyes: Optional. Large silver-and-black prismatic stick-on
eyes work best.
Head: Live Body foam cylinder, which can be covered with
Chartreuse prismatic tape (optional).
