Tube: 1- to 2-inch-long, narrow-diameter plastic tube.
Eyes: Red dumbbell eyes.
Thread: Size 6/0 (140 denier), color to match the body.
Weed guard: Fox-squirrel tail hair and a couple of pieces of pearl Krystal Flash.
Claws: Pine squirrel Zonker strips.
Legs: Badger saddle hackle.
Body: Pine squirrel Zonker strip.
Shell back: Swiss straw.
Rib: V-Rib.
Head: Lite Brite Dubbing, color to match the body.
Note: Select materials in colors to match the crawfish in your local waters. Burnt orange and muddy olive are common colors.
