Thread: Camel 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail: Microfibbets colored with a black permanent marker.
Abdomen: Dark claret dubbing.
Rib: Fine gold wire.
Wing post: Gray polypropylene yarn.
Thorax: Dark claret dubbing.
Hackle: Chartreuse-olive saddle hackle.
Head: Make a neat thread head and clip. Apply a drop of glue at the head and underneath the thorax so it soaks into the base of the hackle fibers and reinforces the hackle and wing post.
