Hook: Tiemco 5212, size 8.
Thread: Camel 6/0 (140 denier).
Tail: Microfibbets colored with a black permanent marker.
Abdomen: Fiery brown dry-fly dubbing.
Rib: Yellow Monocord.
Wing post: Black polypropylene yarn.
Thorax: Black polypropylene yarn.
Hackle: One purplish dun saddle hackle and one yellow saddle hackle wrapped together.
Head: Make a neat head and clip. Apply a drop of glue at both the head and underneath the thorax so it soaks into the base of the hackle fibers and reinforces both the hackle and wing post.
