Hook: Tiemco 5212, sizes 12 and 10.
Thread: Dark brown 8/0 (70 denier).
Tail: Dun Microfibbets.
Abdomen: Brownish maroon yarn.
Rib: Gray Monocord.
Wing post: White polypropylene yarn.
Thorax: Brownish maroon yarn.
Hackle: Medium dun saddle hackle.
Head: Make a neat head. Apply a drop of glue at both the head and underneath the thorax so it soaks into the base of the hackle fibers and reinforces the hackle and wing post.
