Hook: Daiichi 2141, sizes 4 to 1.
Thread: 6/0 (140 denier), black.
Tail: A wide, tapered, pink or chartreuse rabbit fur strip.
Body: Pale yellow Ice Dub or another synthetic dubbing.
Wing: Rainbow Flashabou or a mixture of colors of Flashabou.
Collar: A clump of Ice Dub, color to match the wing, with a grizzly
marabou feather tied on each side.
Head: A clump of Australian opossum.
Note: This is more of an attractor pattern, but is effective when
steelhead are in a meat-eating mood. It is an excellent choice
for fishing stained water.
