Marabou Leech

Hook: Heavy-wire, 2X- or 3X-long nymph hook, sizes 10 to 4.
Head: 1/8-inch-diameter black metal bead.
Thread: Size 3/0 (210 denier), color to match the wing.
Body: The tying thread.
Tail and wing: Long marabou fibers from the sides of the plume, tied as a tail and along the back. Tie a few fibers of Lite Bright or Angel Hair under each bunch of marabou. The color of the tail and wing is black, brown, tan, light olive, or dark olive.
