It’s for the Kids

Spend a weekend enjoying some great trout fishing in a beautiful environment while raising money for the world-famous St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

It’s summer and the fishing has been fine. In my neck the woods, I’ve been enjoying some terrific angling for brook trout, landlocked salmon, and smallmouth bass. I even took a couple days off to travel the back roads to far Northern Maine in search of muskie, the fish of a thousand casts—on a fly! I’m happy to say that I hit it right, and hooked a couple and landed one. Yes, it’s shaping up to be a nice summer.

The Unsung Hero
Producing Fly Tyer magazine is a team effort. After the authors submit their articles to our offices, an entire group of people swing into action to create what you now hold in your hands. Look to the right, and you'll see what is called a magazine masthead; it's a list of many of the people who have roles in producing this publication.
